Marshall 100W Metal

The Marshall 100W Metal is a rare, original vintage tube amplifier from the early 1970s, specifically designed for the emerging hard rock and heavy metal scene. This model dates back to the golden age of Marshall amplifiers and was still manufactured with hand-wired turret boards, making it one of the most coveted and best-sounding Marshall models.

Unmistakable high-gain sound with British character
With 100 watts of power, an EL34 power amp and a purist point-to-point wiring, this amplifier delivers the ultimate British hard rock and early heavy metal tone. The massive tube saturation at high volume produces a natural distortion with rich mids, crushing bass and harmonic highs, perfect for legendary 70s metal riffs and cutting lead sounds.

Without the Master Volume, the amplifier has to be turned up loud to achieve its famous organic tube compression and natural saturation. Guitarists such as Ritchie Blackmore, Tony Iommi and Michael Schenker have used exactly this amplifier to create their distinctive, punchy sounds.

A true collector's item with authentic vintage sound signature
The Marshall 100W Metal is not only a top-notch performance amplifier, but also a valuable collector's item. Its hand-wired turretboard circuit, the high-quality transformers from the Marshall factory in Bletchley, and the original Mullard tubes make it one of the best and most authentic Marshall amplifiers of the early 1970s.

Conclusion: The ultimate vintage Marshall for Hard Rock & Metal
Anyone looking for an original, unmodified Marshall from the early 70s will find the Marshall 100W Metal to be one of the most authentic amplifiers for hard rock and metal sounds.
